KILLER TECHNIQUE!!!

Delaina just told me about the COOLEST technique that she uses all the time!!! She has a transparency sheet (you know, those plastic pages they write and erase on for school projectors) which she runs through her printer. She prints in "mirror image" and then rubs the phrase right onto her card. The results look like a stamp or rub-0n. This is a huge money saver (no more buying phrase stamps!!!) and a great way to get any font or size you want for a phrase. WOW WOW WOW. I'm so going to do this from now on :) I always wondered how she did her phrases and now I know. Genious.

Feb. Card Swap

So I am in AWE of the talents of this card swap group!! It is out of controL!!!! I love it. Tammy and Jen came through with awesome cards for their first month.

Here is my card. I loved it until I saw the others ;) I used stamped and George.
Here is Jen's card. She used the cuttlebug for the top half, so it is actually embossed!! (though you can't completely tell in the pic). That is soo cool :) Cute colors too!

Here is Delaina's card. Once again, I'm amazed. I think I'm going to have to persuade her to get her stuff published!

Here is Laura's. She is totally kicking butt with the DSS! Love the paper too.

Candy Card

I saved the best for last:) My demo made these as a valentine gift. I love it!!! They look totally easy to make. I am going to have to measure it so I can make some myself. The flower/stem type design on the pink paper is a stamp with versamark ink I think. I just love these colors! Like I said she is very talented. They are very simple yet very classy! You could easily make them for a baby shower or Marcie for your scripture reading treat! The flower that this around the candy is just a scallop punch!

Card Made From Sketch

Here is the card that was created from the sketch. The first pic is of the whole card, the second is a close up of the top, pay attention to the flowers in the circle. The last pic is of the inside of the card, yep the flowers were stamped on the inside. Sorry you are going to have to turn your head to see them.

Idea Book

The second project they made was a sketch book. I love the colors and the look! Each month she will have a print out of a sketch and will will make a coordinating card.

Stampin Up Cards

I belong to a SU hostess of the month type group. Every month for the six months I have to purchase a minimum of 25 dollars in merchandise. We meed at the demo's studio (which is in her basement but looks like a store) and she has the supplies to make a few projects once a month. We also are the "hostess" once in that time and we get a free stamp set and 10.00 in free merchandise. I know I end up spending more than what I get free but the projects are really cool and her room is a total idea heaven plus who doesn't love to spend money on crafts. I was unable to be at the Jan meeting since that was the night we were celebrating my birthday. Well the demo lady will make your project if you can't be there and you pick it up when you pick up your stamps. When Mom saw the projects they made she said that she doesn't mind taking me out there because she loves the projects and can use them for ideas:) Here is the first card.

Ironically it is a birthday card. The second pic is a close up but its a little blurry. I wanted to show the details. The center of the flower is a pink gem brad then its an embossed flower finally its several layers of different sized circles.
